Good reading. Speak well.

Maintain the full source

322 dictionary records, all 6 original recipe cards and 36 additional sections are retained. The recipes from the chapters are also available as interactive recipes.

What's been checked?

The full vocabulary and all IPA fields in the recipe cards and chapters have been checked. Double stress signs and incorrect sounds have been restored. Original dictionary records and chapter texts remain available under the source information.

A consistent New Greek statement

stress, vowels, letter combinations, voting capacity and palatal sounds have been checked. The pronunciation rules follow Amalia Arvaniti's description of Standard Modern Greek. Doubts have been compared to dictionary and dialect sources. This is an editorial check; not every entry has been confirmed separately by a native speaker or phonetician. Synthetic audio does not qualify as verification.
